Limits of the Human
At the heart of the research focus is the question which writing techniques, narratives and images literary texts use to take up and shape publicly discussed topics, thereby bringing aspects into play that are omitted or even scandalized in public discourse. The special skills of literary studies come into play when it comes to highlighting cultural-historical traces in the present and questioning discursive routines in current debates.
